WOMEN IN STEM HS PANELS: VIRTUAL THIS YEAR!

Each month, WISE hosts a panel of Women in STEM who work in academia and industry to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities that women have in STEM-related fields.  These panels welcome young women from all over Tucson to connect with panelists, ask questions, and learn from their experiences.

On October 28th, WISE hosted their first virtual panel of the year, focused on academic majors and career pathways. The panel featured women from different areas of STEM, specifically within the fields of Math, Geosciences, and Engineering. The panelists shared incredible experiences they have had over the years such as scuba diving, research on secluded islands, aerospace engineering, current COVID-19 epidemiological modeling, and more!  

The next event in our panel series will be the Women in STEM December Panel!  On December 9th, join us on zoom for another fun and informative panel.
