Girls Who Code Fall 2020

Sept. 29, 2020

Girls Who Code is a year-long program that teaches coding concepts and empowerment workshops for 6th-12th grade girls. Generally, the program takes place Saturday mornings on the UA campus, but GWC has moved fully online for this year. While we still have check-in meetings every Saturday, the program is asynchronous -- students can view  the lectures and work on the coding projects whenever they are free and have access to the technology to do so. The Girls Who Code facilitator team hopes that this move increases access to the program for students who are unable to make the Saturday morning commitments, or who do not have stable internet access. If you have any questions about the program or know a girl who may be interested in joining, please contact lead facilitator Amanda Bertsch at abertsch@email.arizona.edu.
