Bio/Diversity Project, COVID-19 update

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and the associated switch to online instruction at the University of Arizona, as well as the closure of K-12 public schools, The Bio/Diversity Project internship has been slightly modified. All future lessons in K-12 schools have been canceled, in-person intern meetings will take place remotely, and all presentations will be submitted electronically.  Although students will not be able to implement the lessons they develop in the K-12 schools, they will continue to develop lesson plans and receive feedback on them. We hope to compile these lesson plans at the end of the semester into a 10-week environmental science curriculum to deliver to our K-12 partner teachers.
