Girls Who Code aims to close the gender gap in technology and computer science by offering free coding class for girls in grades 8-12. Through weekly meetings, girls learn the core4 skills (loops, conditionals, variables, and functions) and how technology can be used to address real world problems, all while building relationships with other young women interested in computer science.
UA Girls Who Code meets on Saturdays from 10am-noon in room 112A of the Main Library. Contact Jill at JillMWilliams@email.arizona.edu with questions.
In order to participate, please complete the three release forms downloadable below, and see the map to Room 112A in the Main Library.
